Multiplexed LED Matrix

The Multiplexed LED Matrix is a board I/O module in the LabWired part catalog. Its catalog type is led-matrix-mux. It connects to the MCU over GPIO. It has 10 pins. A registered peripheral model runs in the engine: the firmware talks to it over the real bus and gets device-accurate responses.

From the catalog: led_matrix. Canvas is the micro:bit v2 5×5 (R1–R5, C1–C5). Brightness is on-time per persistence window. Current sharing and light sensing are not modelled.

How to simulate the Multiplexed LED Matrix in LabWired

  1. Open the Playground at app.labwired.com and place an MCU board.
  2. Add the Multiplexed LED Matrix (catalog type led-matrix-mux).
  3. Connect R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 to free GPIO pins.
  4. Run the firmware. It drives and reads the pins of the part, and the device model responds on those pins.
