MAX485 RS-485 transceiver

The MAX485 RS-485 transceiver is a passive, analog or power part in the LabWired part catalog. Its catalog type is max485. It connects to the MCU over UART. How to simulate the MAX485 RS-485 transceiver in LabWired

  1. Open the Playground at app.labwired.com and place an MCU board.
  2. Add the MAX485 RS-485 transceiver (catalog type max485).
  3. Connect VCC and GND to the supply and ground of the board. Use a supply inside the catalog range of 4.5–5.5 V.
  4. Cross the UART lines: connect RO to the RX pin of the board, and DI to the TX pin of the board.
  5. Connect DE and RE to free GPIO pins.
  6. Connect A and B as your circuit needs.
  7. Run the firmware. It sends and receives bytes on the simulated UART as on hardware.
